Rainbow Awards

Less Than Three Press entered Granola Bars and Spaceships in the Rainbow Awards.

It did not place, but it did receive an honorable mention from two different judges. The quotes that go with that honorable mention are something I will read over and over when I need a morale boost.

“Granola Bars and Spaceships is a fun, light, well-crafted tale of love across the universe. I enjoyed every minute!”

“When I saw the title I looked forward to reading the book, it sounded fun and it was. Swift easy to read light hearted fun. There was just enough clever thought-provoking content in the story to stop and make you think. for instance, we all have that experience of thinking we’ve seen something move out of the corner of our eye, but when we look more closely there is nothing there, or is there?”

You can check out the actual post by the person running the Awards here.

A little about the awards for you:

The Rainbow Awards are held (mostly) annually. Only books with LGBTQ+ characters or focus are eligible, and can be submitted by the author or the publisher. The categories cover most genres. The entry fee is a $25.00 donation to an LGBTQ+ charity of your choice. This year, they raised $12,313. That is insane and wonderful.

You can find a list of the winners for the different categories here, as well as posts about the honorable mentions and all the entries. It’s definitely worth a look if you’d like to add to you TBR pile. You can also scroll through the entries on the Facebook Event page.

The winners for 2018-2019 were announced in early December. I am so behind on the blog posts. Sorry all.
