Hello and Welcome to 2023, the newest season of Earth!

Last updated on May 31, 2024

Hello, lovely people. I hope the start of the new year sees you well.

I have high hopes for this year. I’ve cleaned my desk and everything. And I have a new chair!

I know I wasn’t around much in 2022. To be honest, 2021 sucked. A lot. I had some big health things that left me burned out, and I spent a lot of 2022 dealing with that. I also had a trip to visit family on the west coast in August, and that took a lot spoons. Then we caught COVID in October. So that was fun. (0 out of 10 stars. Do not recommend.)

But I did get some stuff done! The Taste of Winter came out in October. It’s a rom-com novella about a unicorn shifter who gets caught playing in the park and the human who catches her and then woos her. It’s excessively cute and I had a lot of fun writing it. I hope you’ll check it out if you haven’t already. If you don’t usually read FF but are open to dipping your toes into the genre, it would be a nice low heat introduction.

I also wrote a chunk of an MM paranormal romance that will probably wind up being about the same vibe and length as The Taste of Winter. I have a good chunk of it done, but it’s pouting in the corner right now because I’ve been concentrating on…

The leopard shifter and his prince! Its official, finalized, on the cover and everything, title is Repairing Destiny. It’s going to be long. (Well, long for me, anyway.) I’ve got 27,000 words written and I’m pretty sure that I’m less than half way. I really want to finish it this year, hopefully before summer. I don’t know when my editor will want it after that, but I’m actively working on it, so we’ll see what happens. Barring further disasters, I think I’ll be working steadily on it until it’s done. If you want to torture yourself with the prologue, go here. It will be a traditional fantasy romp with shifters, a sad prince, a mate bond, and all that fun stuff.

So those will probably be the next to things you see from me. Yay? Hopefully yay. Anyway, while you’re waiting for those, go check out the book page for The Taste of Winter. If you’re still feeling tentative, let the reviews there convince you. 😉

If you ever want an update on what I’m currently doing, I try to keep the book updates page at least slightly up to date. Let me know in the comments if there’s anything you’d like to see on the blog this year. Friend me on Facebook if you want. Or I’m also over on Insta.

Much love to you all and I wish you all the best for the coming year.
